For a few years the day after Thanksgiving all of the girl cousins and aunts would go down to Newport Rhode Island to tour the mansions and get dinner. I always really enjoyed it because all of the cousins were at such different points in their lives – KiKi in New York, I was in DC, Kimba in college, Colleen in high school, Cambria in California and Shannon and Kate in middle school and yet we all always had a really great time, laughing until we cried playing headbands. I miss it, and I think about and miss Kate everyday, but I’m really thankful to have these memories with her and the other strong supportive women in our family. I’ll always cherish these days after Thanksgiving. Love, Kayla and the girl cousins
